5. Change that diaper!

Researchers early on found out that the fathers who helped diapering their baby had stronger, better, and more long-lasting marriages.  So if you want to score points with mom and with your baby — learn the art of diapering and treat it as a shared duty with mom.   If you don’t want the feces to hit the oscillator in your relationship, learn to deal with it at the source.

  1. I think this is brilliant advice. (The other 9 tips were spot on as well).

    When my daughter was born, my wife didn’t change a single diaper for the first four days. This allowed her to have one less thing to worry about, and gave me some extra time with my new baby, who spent the great majority of those first days eating or sleeping. It was an easy way to show my wife I was there for her, and for our daughter.
