Day 271: I am Your Father

One of the most famous fathers in movies has to be Darth Vader. I didn't see the films when they were originally released in the theaters, but that must've been quite a big reveal. Throughout the films, we see Luke Skywalker struggling with the choice of following his father's path or following a harder path. Unfortunately for Luke, he has inherited many of his father’s worst qualities and you could easily see how Luke might've turned out to be a villain if the circumstances have been different.
Luckily, he had the influence of other good mentors in the absence of his father. Had he not had these mentors, he likely would have been subverted by the dark side.
Darth Vader also showed us that it is possible for someone to turn back from their wicked ways, that there is a little bit of good in everyone.
