Day 200: A Child Playing With His Father

“A child playing with its father screams louder, laughs harder, jumps more eagerly, puts more faith in everything.”

― Lydia Netzer

There’s nothing like seeing the delight that your children have in you if you have been a good father. My sons run to the door when I get home and genuinely want to do whatever I’m doing with me.

Whether they know it or not, they are going to grow up and inherit much of what you give them. Among all of those things, why not leave them with wonderful memories of a father who took time to play with them, laugh with them, and teach them about the things that are dearest to your heart?

They probably won’t be able to name what they got for a single Christmas once they are grown, but they will remember what kind of dad you were to them.
