Kickball is so simple to play that it only requires one piece of equipment. As long as you have ball that can be easily rolled and kicked, you’ve got enough to play kickball. I recommend the very bouncy rubber balls but usually come in red.
The rules of kickball are about the same as the rules of baseball. However, it does not require a glove and it could be much easier for younger children to kick a ball that is rolled toward them as opposed to getting a much smaller ball this pitch toward them.
During summers, we would set up makeshift bases out of whatever was around, like orange traffic cones from the garage, and then make up small teams. Usually the backyard works just fine for field. Usually my parents would switch off the duties of pitching the ball for everyone and each of us kids would take our turn at bat (at foot).
