Day 154: Miscommunication

Miscommunication happens all of the time. If you listen to your kids talk, they are literally saying different words than you used when you were a kid. When you tell him to clean their room and they don’t do it right away it’s easy for them to fire back “I was going to clean my room, but you didn’t tell me when.”

Luckily, miscommunication isn’t usually a life or death situation. Just make sure that you’re clear with your children when you tell them what you are thinking about.
