No child should grow up without a healthy dose of play dough. The brand name stuff can be expensive, but luckily it is not hard to make in your own kitchen.
When I was a kid, there were just two themes to my play dough creations: aliens and dinosaurs. For aliens, the more eyes, limbs, and even heads, the better. You can even bake your creations once you have them in the right shape to harden them. Sometimes, we would even paint our creations after we baked them, giving our aliens and monsters even more personality.
Sound fun? Here are three different recipes to try that use stuff you probably already have in your kitchen. You can also rest assured that even if the kids try a bite, it might taste bad, but won’t hurt them.
As an extra tip, you can add a packet of a Kool-Aid powdered mix to the dough in order to make dough in different colors
